A mullet headed special agent (Will Forte), highly decorated by all the major special operations forces, comes out of retirement after learning his arch-nemesis (Val Kilmer) has taken possession of a nuclear warhead. MacGruber has fun witch action movie cliches and serves its purpose for a few laughs but like most SNL movies it's one joke quickly devolves into redundancy. Kilmer is hilarious.
